The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR continues to receive from the media, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Pridnestrovie, human rights organizations and individual representatives of the civil society of Pridnestrovie, as well as agencies of the United Nations regarding the situation with the detention of officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the PMR Maksim Kuzmichev in the Hellenic Republic.


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic informs that border police and Information and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova again carried out an unfriendly action, aimed at information and diplomatic isolation of Pridnestrovie.


Today, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the PMR has spread a statement at the official website regarding the facts of biased coverage of the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) to the situation in the sphere of foreign economic activity of Pridnestrovie. The Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie has carefully studied statements of Adviser for Human Rights of the Office of the UN High Commissioner to the Republic of Moldova Claude Cahn published by the “Ziarul de gardă” on August 20, 2015, and we have been very surprised by the boldness with which Mr.


Today, on 26 August 2015 some Moldovan media reported on the introduction by Moldova of a number of new restrictions on the freedom of movement of inhabitants of Pridnestrovie. According to the spread information, this is about the ban imposed by the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova on entry and exit from the territory of Moldova, including to Ukraine, for vehicles registered in Pridnestrovie and with relevant number plates.


In connection with numerous inquiries received by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR about the prospects for holding a meeting at the level of leadership of Pridnestrovie and Moldova that has been recently told on television by elected Prime Minister of Moldova Valeriu Strelet we inform about the following.


​The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR reports that a member of the Pridnestrovian Interior Ministry staff M.G. Kuzmichev was arrested by competent bodies of the Hellenic Republic by the instruction of the Republic of Moldova at the airport in Athens on Monday, July 20, 2015.


The Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie got acquainted with curiousity with some statements of Representative on Political Issues of the Republic of MoldovaVictor Osipov, this time voiced during an interview to the Kommersant newpaper. The PMR's MFA does not find it possible to comment on a number of openly unfriendly and untruthful theses of the interview, but it cannot but responds to, apparently, intentional delusion of the Moldovan negotiator, which gets obsessive features and indicates the lack of respectful attitude to the realities of the ongoing negotiation process.


The Press Service of the Foreign Ministry of the PMR attentively got acquainted with a number of theses voiced by the Representative on Political Issues of the Republic of Moldova Victor Osipov on a Moldovan TV channel.


In connection with news reports in Moldovan media affirming the alleged threats on the part of Pridnestrovie to introduce a visa regime for Moldovan citizens, to restrict the transit of goods, to introduce duty of 100 percent on products of the RM and so on, the Press Service of the MFA of the PMR informs the following.


Yesterday, on May 21, 2015, the director of the Dniester-Prut Centre of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies was detained at the airport in Kishinev and then deported to the Russian Federation.


On May 7, 2015 News Agency “” spread information about the situation with obtaining licences in the Republic of Moldova by the Pridnestrovian enterprise CJSC Tiraspol Wine & Cognac Factory «KVINT».


On April 20, 2015 at the airport in Kishinev the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova detained Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk in order to carry out the intensified personal inspection.

The officials of the Moldovan Border Police actually prevented the representative of the Pridnestrovian delegation from departing for Vienna to participate in special informal consultations with the delegations in the “5+2” format.


On April 19, 2015 at the airport in Kishinev Moldova's border police denied entry for a crew of the programme “Postscript” of the Russian television channel TV Tsentr. Journalists went to Pridnestrovie to shoot reportage, but upon arrival in Kishinev they were detained by competent authorities of the Republic of Moldova, and then they were expelled. We remind that journalists of TV Channels “Zvezda” and “Russia 24” had previously been denied entry.


The Foreign Ministry of the PMR took with attention not only the request of the REGNUM News Agency, but also the information previously published on the agency's website with a heading “Tiraspol has changed the national idea: instead of “Eurasian” – “European integration”.  We remind that in that material of April 4, 2015 the REGNUM correspondents came to that conclusion by analyzing the information of the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Moldova in which the REGNUM news agency allegedly reported that an agreement to cr


Today at the airport in Kishinev the border police of the Republic of Moldova denied entry to the crew of the Zvezda (Star) television channel moved to Pridnestrovie for shooting a reportage on the socio-economic situation in the country and an interview with the President of the PMR E.Shevchuk.


On April 4, 2015 the Moldovan news agency «» posted a message with a reference to an interview with representative on political issues from the Republic of Moldova Viktor Osipov to the “Radio Moldova” in the programme “Loc de dialog” that on April 21, 2015 in Vienna “the negotiations on Pridnestrovian settlement in the format “5+2” will  resume”.


Today, on April 3, 2015, a group of employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR was returning from a business trip on a regular S7 flight from Moscow to Kishinev for subsequent departure to the capital of Pridnestrovie.


As previously reported by the press service of the State Security Committee of the PMR, on March 31 at 15:20 at a sector of the state border of Pridnestrovie with Ukraine, near the village Novaya Andriyashevka bordering the locality Rozalovka (Razdelnyansky Raion, Ukraine) there was an incident resulted in severe wound of a citizen of the PMR.


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR sent a letter to the Moldovan side informing about the decision taken by the President of the PMR to postpone the requirement of the compulsory automobile liability insurance for car owners of the Republic of Moldova until 14 April.
